Hotel Berlin, Berlin sits on Lützowplatz, on the Tiergarten edge of Schöneberg rather than on Motzstraße. Nollendorfplatz is about six minutes on foot, so you can go out without sleeping above a bar. The courtyard and the size are why people already know it. Good for mixed groups, a calmer street, and breakfast. If you want a gay hotel, book Axel. If you want Motzstraße itself, book Sachsenhof.
